| What makes my custom Raider the best? While Baron’s parts are amazing and have superior fit and finish; it isn’t the parts that make my Raider the best. It’s the story behind them and their installation that makes the bike. I get to know Jon Baron when he offered to use my bike for an industry show last August. My pregnant wife and I had a week to install a sweet Slam Kit, killer 1.5" Bars w/ 9" pullback, comfy Hextex grips, 3" Tachometer, Custom Shift Linkage, Fork Cones, Shorty kickstand, Frame cover, Stainless Steel Lines and Cables, the sleek Profiler gas cap and get the bike to Madison for the show. We got a behind the scenes look at the motorcycle industry. Months after the show I still received calls from Jon asking how I am enjoying the parts and how our pregnancy was going. Jon made us feel like we were part of the Baron’s family.
Installing the parts together made the experience and our Raider unique to us. I added a Baron’s Stealth BAK this spring which really increased the power of the already formidable Raider. I’m indebted to Jon because of his kindness. The opportunity he and Baron’s gave us revived my wife’s interest in riding her own bike which she hadn’t since a crash 10 years ago. My wife is now working on her own bobber project, doing the wrenching herself. Undoubtedly, we’ll be using many Baron’s parts on this project as well.
