| What did Eric Alvarez have to say about his ride? |
| I have attached three photos of my therapy unit. My father-in-law bought the bike new in 2003. As with all his purchases, he ordered the best the dealer had, with all options. Before he reached his mile service, he started tearing it down to have things painted, chromed and otherwise… customized a bit. I was sooo honored that he involved me in some of the design and bolt turning. Short version, he bought a Ducati and put this bike on the market. My wife agreed to the purchase for our anniversary in 2005 and to \“keep it in da family\”. This bike starts as a loaded and numbered limited edition 2003 Yamaha road Star Silverado LE. It has been lowered, painted, chromed, jeweled and adorned with 13 first place awards. The \“motif\” starts with an old school feel with wire wheels, leather and studs and a simple Indian head nickel airbrush. As you examine the custom work more closely, you will find the motor fins have been eched, wires carefully hidden and run thru tubes all bolts have been chromed. Stock lighting was pitched for billet style low profile goodies. These photos are a bit old as a Lindby bar, lighting, spikes and other work has been done. Enjoy. |
